Do Fundies realize what they’re causing when they ban gay marriage?
In places such as California, or Fundie states that won’t even process the thought of gay marriage, I just have a few genuine questions.
Do they realize how frustrating it is for a gay couple not to be able to get married? Not only emotionally, but financially as well. Or what is going on in the lives of a gay couple who had spent the last several months planning a wedding, sending out invitations and buying decorations only to have to throw everything out?
Do they think that by protesting gay marriage and not allowing gays to marry, that gays will somehow see the light and turn around and repent, or something?
Do they think Jesus would vote Yes or No on Prop. 8?
Do they sweep the emotions of homosexuals under the rug, block out the thoughts of what they’re doing to gays, and only think about themselves? Their soul? Their church?
I just can’t comprehend the thought process of an anti-gay Fundie, any insight is appreciated.
They like to call it “opposite marriage” now.
