What should I do as a Christian when it comes to gay marriage and abortion?
I believe that gay sex and abortion are wrong.
I believe that another person’s choices are their decision and are none of my business, and that I have absolutely no right to judge the decisions others make.
Now, what am I supposed to do if I am asked to vote on something like legalizing gay marriage or abortion? Should I vote against them because I think they’re wrong? Should I not vote at all? Should I vote for them because I think people should be able to make their own choices?
Some advice, please
Although it is none of your business what people do with their lives if they choose, it is your moral obligation to speak against the things that are seen wicked before God.
You have that right to speak out. Women should not be killing babies just because they had an accident.
Marriage is a holy union between man and woman before God. If the laws want to abide by this holy union, then you have that right as an American and as a Christian to fight against the things that destroys people’s souls. Only you can understand this on a spiritual level. Others won’t understand what I am talking about.
You have to understand that most people are self-centered and self-absorbed. They do anything that feels right to them. Therefore they can’t discern what is righteous and what is wrong. According to secular America, there is no absolute right or wrong.
