Gay Marriage question – Please answer <33?
Okay, so i know gay marriage is legall in some parts of America…Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont…
BUT, i was wondering lets say you were from another state, can you still go to Iowa or any of thoose places and get married? or do you have to live there?
im from England so i don’t understand how this works
This is to help me with a slash story i write ![]()
thank you
xx
sure, you can get married there.
but once you go back to your state [that doesn't recognize gay marriage] it’s no longer considered a marriage. so it will just be like you were never married in the first place.
so if you want to be married, and stay married, you would have to live in the state that accepts gay marriage.
