what would be a good introduction for a persuasive essay on legalizing gay marriage?
I am trying to think of a clever way to start out my persuasive essay on legalizing gay marriage. I have the three body paragraphs finished but the introduction and conclusion are really giving me a hard time. I thought about using a quote, but i just cant find many that are actually appropriate and support my arguement. So if you could find any good quotes to start off with that would be fabulous. A title that ties in with the introduction would also be helpful. Im just fishing for ideas..
THANKS :]
I would need to read your paper to see your argument. Your introduction is supposed to state your thesis. It all depends on what your body paragraphs entail. Somtimes relevant stories are great and sometimes quotations are good. If you are looking for a particular author, David Shapiro has written a ton of published articles on gay marriage.
