Snotalie, you should read a bit, dear. We live in a Republic, not a Democracy. Read about the differences between a democratic republic, and a democracy. Then, you’ll be less confused.
As for the original question; I think it’s fantastic! People should have never been able to vote on the civil rights of others. A majority voting against the rights of a minority is horribly unfair.
