Is it Democrats or Republicans that support gay marriage, gay rights, and abortions?
In civics i took a test and was called a democrat, but i said no to abortions and no to gay marriages being legal. but i heard democrats support gays so do they?
Democrats and Republicans are just political parties. They don’t have to have anything to do with a persons moral beliefs. Traditinally, Democrats tend to be more liberal minded and republicans tend to be more conservative minded in their beliefs, but it’s not always like that. It’s also got to do with their beliefs about how to run a government. Were there any questions about that on the test? If so, that may have something to do with it. If it was just a test about your moral beliefs, as far as how you feel about abortion, homosexuality, etc, then it’s stupid to frame you as democrat or republican. Moral and ethical beliefs are about a person’s sense of right and wrong. It has nothing to do with being democrat or republican.
